Hello 👋. I know it's been so long since I last posted here. Thank you for all the love and support on the previous post. Today I'm here to tell you about something that happened many years ago and is still relevant today.
The whole story starts on 14th October when a school teacher showed a cartoon on Prophet Muhammad while explaining freedom of speech. Some eye witnesses say that he asked the Muslim students to leave the class if they feel bad when Prophet is shown in such manner. Then obviously the children went to their homes and told their parents about what happened, just like any other kid. After 2 days on 16th October, the teacher is murdered by a group of terrorists. Following the Prime Minister's visit to the school and reaction on various points.
Here, one can see this issue in 2 different perspectives. 1. Insulting a religion is wrong. 2. No one has the right to determine who must live and who mustn't. Only the courts have that power.
Firstly, it wasn't an insult to any religion. It was just a mere example of how one can express their opinion. I don't like vanilla ice cream and my friend loves it doesn't mean he should kill me because I don't like it. It is as simple as that.
Let's look at the second perspective. Yeah, no one has the right to determine whether one should live or no. Violence should not be the way to impose one's religion. If you want to kill people because they told you something, you should live in the forest. Not in a society because in a society, everyone has opinions on everything and if it does not match yours, you must be okay with it. ( Btw Ramayana explains this point really well in the vanavas. )
If you think what the terrorists aka extremists did was correct, in the name of Islam. Let me tell you something, no religion on the planet tells one to go and violate rules. No religion is above lives. If you now think if Jihad ( fight against enemies ) it tells you to fight against the enemies in you. You should fight against the enemy who makes you lazy. You must fight against the person who tempted you towards bad habits. Fight against those who stopped you from being productive. It is not physical jihad. It refers to the mental jihad.
If you still back the extremists action on the murder of the teacher for showing the cartoon of Prophet Muhammad, that it was a deed to respect Islam, you are totally wrong. If you consider extremism and Islam together, then you're doing the biggest crime possible for Islam by putting it in the bad books. If Prophet Muhammad was alive, he would not ask anyone to kill anyone because according to my Muslim friends who read the Quran, Prophet was on Earth to do service and not spread violence. Well, some people tried to turn the tables around and took advantage of it and influenced people to form South Asia's biggest and largest failure, Pakistan. Imagine the things we would achieve together as one nation, better connectivity to the world, development, Peace, we would have prevented 3 wars, saved millions of lives, stop terrorism and Extremism.
Enough of justifying people let's go to what the French Prime Minister is up to on the issue.
The French Prime Minister visited the school after the terror attack and to bring back the country to order, he is proposing ng a law which ultimately makes the citizens of France consider the constitution of France above all religions. That is important because, patriotism above religion will stop such extremists take religion as a cover for their criminal deeds.
Let's look at what the extremist leaders opposed this. The Turkish President Ergdoan, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, and the others opposed this and called the oppression of Muslims and Islamophobia. If you want to oppose muslim oppression, why don't you also talk about the Uyghur muslims in the Shinjiang province of China? I have the answer, because the Chinese government funds you and you inturn fund the terrorist activities.
From all this chaos there is one final conclusion we can draw. The world will never achieve peace if it is controlled by religion and not by people. I've mentioned in the post ' democracy explained' where I told that the average voter dosen't know whom to vote for. And the voters can be easily influenced by what they belive in 'religion'.
Taking advantage of it, we have many failed governments and governments that have succeeded too. I really like the way Indian government functioned after Modi became the Prime Minister. But, I really oppose the way he came to power, using the religion card.
